Two types of overcoats were issued. Foot soldiers wore single-breasted and mounted double-breasted (obscured by cape). The sword is a light artillery model with a leather sword knot on the guard. On his saber belt is a cap box and just visible is the flap of a revolver holster. Overcoats were sky blue in color and made of Kersey wool.
