Artillery Officer

Artillery Officer Wearing Sash

This company grade artillery officer is wearing epaulettes on a regulation frock coat. His hat is styled similar to some others during the period and is indented in the top and the brim curved up on either side. He is wearing embroidered crossed canons with an unreadable number in the intersection on the front of his hat. He is also wearing a sash without the sword belt allowing us to see the details of how it is rapped around the body twice and tied on the left side. An extra loop of the sash hangs at the left side.
